What a spring. I spent most of February and March in the hospital. Not for me, but with my mom. She had some complications from surgery and I spent every other night in the hospital room. Fortunately, she was released from rehab at the end of April and life has been easier. NASA Little League is also in full swing. Lots of emotional reactivity on the field and in the stands. Autumn was great. We headed to Boston and roads in between. Overall we were lost most of the month of October among the fall folliage. It was peak while we were in New England and as we headed south, we enjoyed the view through the Blue Ridge Parkway and Smokies. We made it to Boston in time for the Red Sox to attempt their domination. The city was alive. I started physical therapy today. It was not a joy and got me thinking about people who take on that profession. It was an interesting panel at the Houston Museum of Natural Science. The presenters were a futurist, a politician (Under Secretary of Education, USA) and an education administrator.
